Hello whoever might be out there,  As of writing this, I just hit 1000 hours in Splatoon 3. And as of writing this, it is four days until the four year anniversary of the game's release, so also the four year anniversary of the Queen's death. I've been playing Splatoon since February 2021, and I remember that so vividly because I bought Splatoon 2 the same week that Splatoon 3 was announced. Worth it though; Splatoon 2 was an amazing experience for the short time I had it while it was active, including Octo Expansion. I still managed to rack up 175 hours. Then this summer, Splatoon Raiders released, so that's all I did, as anticipated. I played Splatoon Raiders for 80 hours, bearing in mind that it is a single player game with a finite amount of things to do. But it was still amazing anyway, 10/10 would recommend, changed my life forever. But the reason why I am sat here writing this right now is because of Splatoon 3. Passion and care woven throughout every frame. I don't have enough words to express how much I love this game. My Splatoon obsession spawned like many people's did, during lockdown. Hello whoever might be out there, I watched the Minecraft movie. And no I am not surprised that it felt like scrolling through two hours worth of Youtube shorts, all that was missing was the AI voiceover explaining everything with the piano music in the background. I have some thoughts on it. And I know people will love to whine "but it's not that deep," but it is. It always is that deep. Because when a film gets so insanely popular to the point where cinemas have to show disclaimers at the start of the film telling people not to throw popcorn, it will be that deep. Hello whoever might be out there, One of my favourite possessions is my Nintendo 3ds. I love that thing like my child. I have a case for it decorated with a bunch of fish stickers I bought specifically for that purpose. The 3ds is a truly magical thing. Tomodachi Life is also a masterpiece, but in an odd way. It is like a lot of life simulators in a way, you create characters for your town based on whoever you want, give them food and clothes, and next thing you know your brother and Princess Peach are married with two kids, named Toad and Toadette respectively. But this game is different to other life simulators I have played. There's no obsessive house building like in the Sims. And there is no confusing cave systems like in Stardew Valley.
